David A. Dodge |
ATCO Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of David A. Dodge to its Board of Directors, effective May 9, 2012.
Dr. Dodge is a Senior Business Advisor to Bennett Jones LLP following a distinguished career in the federal public service. He was Governor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Canada from 2001-08, and prior to that, held a number of senior public service positions within the Government of Canada.
He is currently Chancellor of Queen’s University and serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research, is Co-Chair of the Global Market Monitoring Group of the International Institute of Finance, and is an Executive Committee member of the C.D. Howe Institute. He serves on the Board of Canadian Utilities Limited.
Dr. Dodge has a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) in Economics from Queen’s University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University.
