Shawn Cooper, Managing Director and Canadian Country Manager, and Curt Ross, Global Natural Resources/Industrial Sector Leader, are pleased to announce that Andy MacRae has joined the firm to spearhead the growth of its Western Canada practice. Based in Calgary, Andy will leverage his extensive industry and advisory experience in the energy and the broader industrial sector to advise Canadian and international clients on senior level executive search, board director search, and executive assessment.
Andy joins Russell Reynolds Associates from IBM, where he spent seven years as a partner and led the Canadian Energy Consulting practice. Prior to this position, he held other senior roles within the energy practices of IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, overseeing domestic and international consulting engagements in strategic planning, business optimization and post-merger integration. His clients included global and domestic corporations involved in oil and gas, utilities and mining. In addition, he spent over 16 years at Petro-Canada (now Suncor Energy), one of Canada’s largest integrated oil and gas companies. Andy received his received B.Sc., honors, in economics from University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
